The not-so date.

Not knowing what to expect, Dora dressed in one of her prettiest dresses and headed to the shop where she'd arranged to meet Basil. This was the first time she'd ever been here, so pushing open the door her cheeks turned a deep red as her eyes took in the products on the wall. She wasn't just a sweet girl, she was a good girl too, not doing a lot ( Read more... )

Yeah... this probably wasn't the idea place to meet a girl as sweet as Dora, for something as sweet as a first date. The thing was that he also happened to live in the condo above his store, and he had not exactly been anticipating this situation when that decision was made.

When he heard the bell on the door he slipped on his shoes and half-walked, half-jumped down the flight of stairs and walked into the shop. At first glance, he grinned as he paused at the door, amused at the shell shocked look on her face. That should have been the first clue that this wasn't exactly the best of ideas. After all, Basil was a giant dickhead and Dora was a saint. In a sex shop.

But this was just a practice thing right?

Walking over to her and leaning against one of the counters, Bas smiled softly. "You look beautiful," he said with a nod before glancing around the store and biting his lip. "So uh, how about we get out of her? Did you have a place in mind already?"

Hearing his voice she turned from the shelf of toys to look at him. If her expression before had been shell shocked, her's now was filled with surprise. Ducking her head ever so slightly she blushed, "You look very handsome yourself," she replied as she looked up at him once more.

He did scrub up nicely, and she really couldn't believe this was the same guy she'd asked to help her out. Walking towards him, Dora still came up short, even in her heels, her eyes still taking in the store. There was a kind of innocent eyed wonder to her face, almost as if her mind was trying to understand the things in was seeing. But unlike most, she didn't blush or act disgusted by the things in the store, she was more than a little open minded.

"There's Delmonico's on Beaver Street. I thought we could go there," her eyes fixed upon him now and she smiled brightly, "You do look very handsome. Would you mind if I took a picture later?" The question came as she started to walk towards the door.
