...So I went and downloaded The Cab's newest because of this.
I don't know if you guys know this, but I love The Cab. They're my go-to when I'm in the car with my mother because even she likes them. They're the perfect mix between pop and actual proper music that isn't all go into studio>speak into mic>autotune.
So, a couple of weeks ago when this floated by my tumblr, I listened and didn't think much of it. Then I read the comments.
DESTIEL FOR EVER
THIS SONG IS SO ABOUT DESTIEL, etc, etc.
And I listened, and you guys. IT IS. Angel With A Shotgun?

It's actually perfect and I totally didn't realise this was from their new album which they aren't releasing on FBR (that's why I didn't know about it!) and so basically I went and downloaded it.
And it's been on repeat for hours now.
(Someone needs to write an AU about this where idk The Cab are prophets or something? And idk SINGER HAS A MISSION TO STOP THE WAR THROUGH MUSIC AND YOU GUYS DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING? And they make this song and Dean is all "lol shitty pop BUT MEANINGFUL LYRICS!" or whatever, and Singer is all EARNEST at him "do you know what you're doing?" and then idk Cas shoots the place up? I haven't really thought about this at all. But someone get onto that.)
