Since everyone and their mammy's are doing this meme, I decided to jump on the band wagon.
I'll admit it - I love makeup. I pay too much for it, relatively speaking. I buy expensive stuff, therefore I do not own much of it.
However, what you see here is nowhere near the amount of stuff I own. Oops.
I apologise for crappy phone photos - the camera is yet again out of charge.
This is the stuff I use the most - nowhere near the amount of stuff I own. You can see various things here, like four foundations in varying shades of 'really fucking pale', mascara, eyeshadow, brushes and loads of lip balms.
These are my foundations, from left to right: MAC Matchmaster in 1.0 (this was a rip-off, and I love it.), Revlon Colourstay in 100 Ivory (this is amazing, seriously.), MaxFactor Lasting Performance in 100 Fair (this is really pale!) and Bourjouis Healthy Mix in 100 Ivory (this is great when I don't want to wear a full face.)
I have pretty bad scars from acne and uneven skin tones, so my foundation tends to be full coverage. To apply it I use either my fingers (if I'm lazy or using the Bourjouis) or this baby!
The Mac 188 brush! I only recently got it, and it was so expensive. But so worth it! It's a stipilling brush which means I use barely any foundation and can do my whole face with a blob. I was going to purchase the 187 (more famous) but I decided a smaller brush was better for covering my nose, which is awful for bad skin.
This is the other stuff I use on my face - l-r: ELF thing which name I forget (amazingly cheap, and a tiny tiny blob does my cheeks), MaxFactor Cream Blush (lovely!) and Maybelline Dream Smooth Primer, which is fab. I also have a Rimmel powder (cheap and does the job!) but I need a new one as I am using broken pieces at the moment.
This is what I use to prep my face - La Roche Posay! This is an amazing brand. I had very bad acne for ages, and this helped clear it up. My skin is super oily, and I used Effaclar M to remove excess sebum. For anyone who wants matte skin, I highly reccommend this! It's slightly pricey but so worth it! Beside it is Effaclar K, which I used as a primer before I got my other one. I still do use it though, as it evens out the skin tone.
These are a few of my lipbalms and glosses - I'm not a big lipstick person. As you can see, I had two Carmex's, and a Nivea. I also have a La Roche Posay one and a Dr Hauskah one too. They're pricey but worked so well when I was on Roaccutane for acne which made my skin into the second coming of the Sahara. The lipstick is a bright red from Boots Natural Collection, the squarey lipgloss I got free with a magazine subscription, it's Maybelline something or other in a coffee colour which is surprisingly nice, a Maybelline (?) reddy lipgloss which is lovely for a night out, and a Rimmel lipgloss which tastes lovely and gives a great sheen.
Two eyeshadow palletes I use when I'm going out - Essence Quattro palette (I highly rec. ANYTHING Essence makes, cheap as chips and fab quality! Same with Elf!) and Maxfactor pallet in greyish shades (when I went through my phase of Smokey Eye'd Life).
Some of the eyeliners I use (closest to back!) Essence double-liner, Essence liquid liner, Essence liner in silver, Elf liquid liner in midnight blue and Essence cream eyeliner in steel. I love the Essence ones so much, and the Elf ones are good too!
Eyeliner of my heart! Maybelline's newest gel eyeliner offering, it glides on and is easily taken off at the end of the night or when you make a mistake, but doesn't budge throughout. It's cheap and as good as the Bobby Brown it is an obvious dupe of.
Best concealer for the under-eyes ever! Aldi (yes, Aldi!)'s Lacura offering, it's compared to the Touche Eclait! It reflects away my horrible purple eyes and is only a fiver!
Two mascaras - both Maybelline 'amazing volume, blah blah blah'. Nothing amazing but stay put and I guess old habits die hard because I'm sure there are better mascaras out there but I return to these every time.
My everyday eyeshadows - both by Essence. Cost me about 2e, I think. A pink&silver for a bit of a fancier touch, and a brown&nude for everyday. These are really good.
I have a lot more, but this is the stuff I like a lot, or reccommend. Most of it is cheap and good quality. I live in Ireland, so whatever is seen here is available in the UK and Europe, generally.
