Thats true but God despratly wants us.

Yes He does want us, and that is our blessing! But He is not a "nervous, ingratiating God fawning over men to win their favor" by any means. We need to cut that perception of God as needing us for anything. God is no better with us than He is without us. He alone is perfect - He needs nothing to complete Himself. Until we realize that and see God for who He truly is, there is no way that the Gospel can mean anything.
