[From wherever you awake, there is a familiar feeling of grogginess and confusion that always accompanies the time when not conscious. It passes faster than usual as your body grows used to the drug. Look around and see what's happened now.]

[after removing Rui's lab coat, Angel pulls it on and tucks all of the ID cards into the pocket. the notepad and pen are in the other pocket. he picks up the axe and glances toward the other two, as if he's waiting for their attention]

What next?

[atoner]

We're breaking through the rubble. Grab a bottle of water and the stool. If you're Adam, it won't matter. They'll end up confining all of us when we get out, anyway. Or killing us, if what Eve told me is correct.

Make sure you've eaten and you're strong enough.

[The lights flicker ominously for a moment and the air goes still in the vents. . . Before the power returns suddenly. The computer makes a gentle whirr as it starts up again.]

[at the sound, Angel steps back away from the computer and immediately looks for a vent duct for them to move through]
