Film Dogme #95 arrived in 1995 as Lars von Trier and Thomas Vinterberg agreed on the ten rules for the "Vow of Chastity". Those included handheld cameras only, no murders, no weapons, no sex, etc. Official Dogme films are otherwise lovingly numbered and titled like the abstract art studies:

Dogme#2: Idioterne
Dogme#8: Fuckland

It's hilarious, sophisticated and false nostalgia for things that hasn't or cannot be-HIP. HIP. One of the lead characters is obviously underdeveloped and has you left with "WHY the fuck now if not before", etc. It's also cute. For a sober perspective of Sweden you would want to start with Maria Blom's debut "The Delaclarnians" or "Mun mot Mun". Magnus Krepper is the rook on Gothenburg culture chess board, in addition he says things like "It would take me three or four more years to answer that".
