How exciting! I wish I lived in an artsy place so I might have a chance to see someone like Eddie, but alas I live in the arm pit of America and all we get to see is Jack Rabbits! I`m so happy for you and especially Eddie. I love his live comedy shows! Hugs to you Patty! I`ve been so busy that I haven`t been able to comment you back, but I think of you often and I always love to hear from you! :)

What no Jack-a-lopes in your neck of the woods? *giggle* ;D

Hey Nancy! :D

It was fabulous... absolutely freakin fabulous! LOL
Katie was (and still is) over the mood about the whole experience. :D
I'd seen Eddie years ago in San Francisco so I knew he was great in concert but this was the first time for Frank and Katie. I could hear Frank actually giggling quite often... not laughing... GIGGLING!! That alone was hysterical to me. LOL XD It was great fun. :D

Awwwww thanks sweetie. :D This has been one weird Winter for me what with my crappy knees, the flu and my damn headaches. I've felt totally out of touch with so many people the past few months. I guess poo happens and we all get busy huh? But just like you said... I think about you often too sweetie!

*SNUGS*

It was marvelous! :D
I've been an Eddie fan for years too and introduced Katie to him a couple of years ago when I thought she was old enough to "get" Eddie. She's been a huge fan ever since.

I wish you could have been there last night too! Perhaps he will make it to your neck of the woods eventually. :)

*cracking up*

He totally said the control P print line last night! Although it was in context of another computer related routine which I won't ruin for you. As soon as he said it the real Eddie fans in the theater went nuts!! Us included! LOL That's how I could tell how many people in the audience were the true fans. He'd say a line that was from an older routine and people would go nuts over it. *giggle*

You'll see on the 31st! ;D

Hopefully he'll say hi to you too sweetie!

*HUGS*

It's not so much that he did any old bits as much as he references them while doing new bits. :D It's great though!

You'll have to let me know how it is the night you go.

WOW! he said hello to you! I love it when celebrities are normal people, Katie must still be beaming, I'm so glad she got to see him so close.
I'd love to see Eddie live but that'll probably never happen, I just love watching all the clips on YouTube, he cracks me up!

We never expected to see him out front that's for sure and since it was so late and a school night there was no way we could stay to see if we could get an autograph afterwards, so it was just wonderful luck we got to see him before hand. :D

We've got all Eddie's concerts on DVD so Katie has them memorized by now. LOL He totally cracks me up.

Doesn't he play concerts anywhere near you?

I remember a show once but couldn't make it, I haven't heard of another since.
Still the YouTube clips are great to watch, one day I'll have to get the DVD's.

I'm so happy for Katie that she got to meet him.

I bought the first DVD because it was the same concert I'd seen in San Francisco and I wanted to keep it because it's so funny. I wanted Frank to see who the crazy Executive Transvestite was. Then years later Katie wanted to see it too... so we let her watch it with us. She was hooked! Since then we've bought the other DVDs mostly around Christmas time for the whole family to enjoy. It's been awhile since he's had a new one out so I'm hopeful that this tour means another DVD is on the way. :D

Anyway, I hope one day you get to see him too. He's lots of fun and a very smart comic. :)

I am late as usual---I thought you would be posting your experience on the playground!!!

How wonderful for Katie to see Eddie up close and personal
Had it been EWAN, I know you would be squealing too!!!

Sorry to say, but I have never heard of Eddie.
I am glad that you all had a wonderful and it will be a time that Katie will never forget.

I hope some pictures come out. That would be the frosting on the cake!!!

Oh no.... it's a personal thing so it goes on my lj... although I do tend to go on a bit in the comments I'd never use the playground for personal posts. :D

I had a marvelous time but I'm most pleased for Katie's sake. This will be a memory she'll treasure for a long time to come. :)

I didn't have the heart to ask Katie to upload her photos when she got home from school. She was dog tired so perhaps this weekend. :)

And you're welcome Char! :D
