oh crap! sorry to hear that... we had 1 week of HOT weather, melted all the snow, then now we are freezing again! I actually turned the heat back on!
NOt good for me old bones!

We've had a bit of a cold snap here ... although somehow I doubt as cold as yours. ;D I worry all my lovely new plants are going to be damaged though. :(

Patty, do you use any preventive medication for your migraines? I've had migraines since I was a kid. I remember getting horrible headaches in grade school. Of course, back then they thought migraine headaches were a myth or something. Anyway, after years and years of suffering 3- and 4-day headaches, a doctor finally suggested I try preventive medications on a daily basis to try to keep the headache from coming on in the first place. Now I take atenolol twice a day, 25 mg, and feverfew, which is a herbal medication you can buy over the counter. The atenolol is pretty inexpensive; I can't remember the actual dollar amount. The combination seems to help me a lot. In the past, my headaches usually came on in the middle of the night and I would wake up with them. Apparently I was stressed, or whatever, in my sleep! So now I take the preventive meds, and for the headaches I have Maxalt. That, unfortunately, is quite expensive, but the stuff works like a miracle for me. I appreciate it sweetie. I've grown used to living with them and I don't get them nearly as often as I used to. They are related to a stroke and a head injury I had a dozen or so years ago so I've had to learn to live with them. I've tried just about every combination you can think of but what I've found works best is relaxation and cutting myself off from stress when it gets bad. Mostly I try to keep on top of my stress level so that I don't let a headache turn into a migrine. I have head pain nearly every day so I'm almost used to it now it's only when it gets to the level where I can't look at lights and feel sick to my stomach that it's really unbarable now ( ... )
