Five Things

Erskineville Kings: Five Six times Wace almost left Jen (before she left him).
1. After their second date. He almost didn't call Jen back. He knew then that he wasn't good enough for her.
2. After he'd almost busted Joe Lyles's head with a wrench for his comment about Jen. He didn't want to have to face her after doing that. He did anyway.
3. Right before she kissed him on the porch before they made love for the first time. Love was a scary word he didn't want to consider, feelings he didn't know how to explain, didn't truly want to explore just then. The next day he was glad he didn't.
4. When she called after Barky left.
5. When she called and asked him to go to a show for fucks sake. His father had just had a fuckin stroke, when the hell was he supposed to be able to go to a fucking show?
6. After he hurt her, he'd been drinkin up the courage to end it. She showed up. He'd hit her, and he never had the chance. She ended it for him.

1. The day his father left. Granted they had a fairly happy childhood without him, (up until Day 2) but he thinks that things would have been a lot different with him there.
2. The day his mother died.
3. The day they tried to bring her back.
4. The day Lieutenant Colonel Hughes died. He thinks that a lot of things would have been different if he hadn't died.
5. The day Edward left him. He doesn't remember that day, only what Winry told him before he started looking for him. If he could erase that day, then maybe he wouldn't be out here on his own now.
