2.13.09 Jealousy
Yoochun broods on his own.
He’s the only one that seems to mistrust Gackt outright, the only one that doesn’t seem to mesh with the Japanese star and honestly, he doesn’t know what he’s more jealous of- The fact that his bandfamily’s found a new point of fascination, or the fact that Gackt doesn’t seem to like him.
Not that Yoochun hasn’t been hostile to Gackt in the first place though. If anything, he’s been outright snippy at the older man at contact. He couldn’t help it though, the older man just.. bothers him.
Wonderfully enough for Yoochun, this manifests in the form of anxiety which easily becomes stress, stress begets drinking and very suddenly, Yoochun finds himself standing outside the door to Gackt’s house, piss-drunk and ringing the doorbell like it’s done something wrong to him.
He pouts instantly when Gackt answers, huffing, “You hate me.”
Not even a question.
A deep rumbling chuckle rises from Gackt’s chest.
“I don’t hate you. we’ve all just been waiting for you to catch on.”
A Blank stare.
“Wait, what?”
“Exactly. Remind Jaejoong about dinner tomorrow.”
The door promptly closes in Yoochun’s face, leaving behind a bewildered look that the world has not quite seen the likes of before.
He’s not sure what just happened, but it sounded good. Yoochun nods at the closed door and turns around, marching back to his car-full of backup dancers, sliding right back into his seat.
He doesn’t know if he’ll ever figure out what Gackt was talking about, but hey, Gackt didn’t hate him.
