miriam's mom is a massage therapist and walked me through everything that can be done to work on scars. aside from one spot where part of a scar has stretched mine are almost invisible now (just put up photos on transster today). if you're interested in the massage techniques i can explain everything in email over the break... it's all super easy.

Hey, that would be great! Megan has been working on mine since about a month after surgery and my scarring is pretty minimal, but there was one section that keloid-ed a bit, so I'd like to massage it out.

*off to transster*

Heads-up: it is a good thing if the scars are bright red after they ahve been massaged. I was freaking a bit out the 1st time, but it means the blood flow was increased, and it's the blood that can remove all the garbage around the scar tissue.

Merlin was phenomenal and massaged my scars a few times after my surgery. I wasn't able to see her nearly as often as I wanted to but each time I felt infinitely better the next day. She really helped to releived a lot of the tension in the area. I'd refer you to her, but I can't see you travelling to Toronto for this, eh? I've sent all my post-top-op friends to her. I'll be going back now that my benefits covers massages *smile*
