Maybe some people would read up on it and realise that you were meant to give presents and then they'd go get some tacky little... thing

There seem a lot of people familiar with demons here. [A pause.] I'm not familiar with the Scripture of Miroku, but I do know that Miroku is the Japanese form of Maitreya.

Before the Conception, there was an article in a magazine about it. A group of demon worshippers known as the Gaea Cult who were based in Japan. The Scripture of Miroku was said to be a book of prophecy they believed in. It claimed that chaos would consume the world. They called it the Conception.

I wouldn't have believed it, if the Conception hadn't occured afterwards. The Vortex world was full of demons of all sorts. Some of them even looked like angels. Maybe they were. In the end it didn't make much difference.

It... was. The world was destroyed, and placed into a temporary state of chaos so that it could be remade. There were very few survivors. I found only two people from the previous world that were still alive, and one of them had become a demon.

So it was the prophecy of Buddha... I see.

There are all sorts. Some are tiny and some are huge. Some even look human, while some look like animals. They're dangerous. Smart, powerful - some are even capable of magic.

Gozuki, Mezuki, Orthus, Nue, Mokoi, Jack Frost. Do any of these sound familiar?
