Here I am, back in Seattle. I got here Saturday night, in the end I spent 4 hours at Calgary airport and 4 hours at Seattle airport all for a flight lasting an hour and a half. Fairly ridiculous, but I guess time wasn't on my side that day ( Read more... ) -

I have moved back to the beloved Chucktown for my last week in Lake Louise, we've been given work at the Hill to do some painting or whatever else needs fixing. Last night we went out to celebrate the our move, mostly because we don't have work today, we obviously went to the Grill&Bar. Well, this is my last update from the front desk at West Louise Lodge. Yesterday we shut down, although over the next week we'll be painting the balconies upstairs, then I fly out to Seattle on the 29th. This leaves me with a week of nothing in Lake Louise. We've been partying most nights since we're leaving soon, so I suppose it'll just continue ( Read more... ) -

Not much to report on. Jeff did the Canadian thing (according to Tara) of picking up and leaving Lake Louise with little notice because he grew to hate the place. He pretty much told everyone a few days before he left, so I've been kind of down about that, but I'm good now. Well... the past week has been an interesting one. Full of highs and lows. I'll concentrate the overall of happenings, essentially I messed up and let my irrational behaviour almost destroy the friendship I have with two co-workers, then jumped to more conclusions and wanted to leave the place. I'm in love with the French-Canadian accent. It's incredible. I only decided this today after thinking about how much I enjoy hearing the French-Canadian boys talk at Chucktown, especially the attractive ones that can cook. Amazing.
