What a note to end on for the night. Let's do some quick math.

In order to write 50,000 words in thirty days, you could divide it into thirty, 1,667-word segments.

Don't give up now!! You are so close and you can do it. If you have to, keep rambling about ideas you have for later in the book, often that can get the creative juices flowing. As long as you write things you intend to use in your book, you can jump ahead and write scenes you might enjoy better. Good luck and seriously - don't give up!!

Here's something new that I didn't expect: If it wasn't for that pesky deadline, I'd be wishing I had more words left to go.

Sure, I'm well over halfway through NaNoWriMo's word-count goal; but I haven't even told half the story that's in my head!

Whole swaths of plot points and not-yet-introduced characters are vying for their right to continued existence right now. I'd rather be sleeping, though.
