I just heard Elliot Smith killed himself.

Do you think he made sad music because he was depressed or did the music sway him?

i think it's both love... i think we all create out of sadness, depression, or pain. I think were examples of that.
I think in essence, if you become so depressed that you kill yourself, youre soul is dead before you are physically dead. being that sad it being dead to everyone around you- youre untouchable almost. from experience, there really is nothing anyone can do to wake you from that dead state. however, you can rise out of it.

i hope everyone can just appreciate the beauty that elliot created...
