Ah, for some beautiful angst first thing in the morning.

I really like this look into Veronica's head, and I think you got in there very well.

The imagery of Lilly's hands was powerful, and I think that the imagery in the whole fic helps to created the illusion of what should be "normal" to Veronica.

Thank you -- I'm glad you think I managed to pull of Veronica, at least in some aspect of the attempt, lol. Here's hoping I can pull it off again for that ficathon assignment, which is due in... yikes, two days!

I don't write fic, but I always thought Veronica's POV would be harder to attempt than Logan's, because a lot of she refuses to admit to other people she probably refuses to admit to herself, too. But I really liked this piece. It's harder to empathize with pre/early season 2 Veronica, at least for me, but you managed it. I think this is my favorite line:

She trusts Logan far too little, and he trusts her far too much

Because it's so very true.

Yeah, before I started writing for the VM fandom, I always thought the same thing. I think it's because, while Logan may have boatload upon boatload of issues, his emotions are fairly straightforward and honest. Veronica, on the other hand, isn't even sure herself what she wants half the time, so what the heck are us writers supposed to think? lol.

It is harder to empathize with her in early S2, but I'm so glad you think I managed to pull it off -- I gave it the old college try.
