TV Ennui
So last night we wanted to see The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, and found Netflicks didn't have it, and Amazon wouldn't rent it--they wanted $14 to "own" it. If I'm going to pay that much, I want a physical copy on blu-ray to keep. We wound up watching some Call The Midwife, but it got depressing, so my husband said he was done after 2 episodes. I went on a binge-reading, two-day bender and finished Night Film by Marisha Pessel
Over 300 pages and I could. not. put. it. down.
It has a film noir/murder mystery vibe, but there's much more to it than that.
