Recruitment (an AU Dragon Age tale)

My initial non-entry for this week's prompt, AU role reversal (Zevran is the Warden, and the PC is the assassin sent to kill him). :o I wanted to sort of lay the groundwork for the situation, but it took far, far too long, and way too many words. XD If I have time, I may do a proper timed entry in the same setting, but we'll see ( Read more... )

Oh my god I need MORE OF THIS LIKE D: D: D:

I just had a brain explosion from reading this. It was AMAZING.

Also doesn't help I'm re-reading ALL of the Knots and Stray Strands in order >_> I crave more of these two, and this AU is delicious.

Awww, thank you! XD;; This was definitely a fun twist, and even with their personalities more or less the same, it just feels different while writing it :o

I need to get back to WWN proper, badly, but I'm finding it hard to concentrate on long stuff lately ^^; (That, and these awesome prompts keep coming up!) Thanks for reading, though! :3

This is incredible! Very impressed that you've switched roles so fluidly without losing any of the defining characteristics that make these two who they are. Alessar is still noble and unassuming and I love the rationale behind sending him on this mission. More importantly, I like how he deals with it in his own thoughts. Zevran is still incorrigible, but it's grand to see him play a new flavour of his witty repartee - works remarkably well! (Grousing Morrigan is too much fun!)

Beautiful last line. That's rather a speciality of yours, I think :)

And, apologies for likely receiving a ton of feedback from me all at once - I've been playing catch-up. And a damn fine catch-up it's been, too! ;) x

Hehe, I don't mind a ton of feedback at all XD Always nice to know when folks are reading (and enjoying)! :3

This is definitely a fun little "remix"! I've got another chapter of the same I need to post, but it's quite interesting looking at the two of them -- and their relationships with the others -- in this slightly different way :3

(And thank you -- last paragraphs and sentences tend to come with a lot of agonizing XD;; )
