I woke Giles up to drag him to PetSmart in Latham so that I could check out what kitties the Mohawk Hudson River Humane Society was showcasing there, and because he knew how to get there. And we ended up coming home with these two.
all suggestions are good, although i would stay away from Thing 1 and Thing 2 (might be hard for the kitties to distinguish between which one you are talking to).
my personal favorite is Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, but you would have to come up with good nicknames. :D
thing 1 and thing 2 has a special place in my heart because my mother used to call my brother and me that. for the record, i was thing 2.
of the list, i like #1. because you can shorten it to rose & some sort of "gilly" type option. so when you have to call them you're not calling "rosencrantzzzzz" etc.
I'm rooting for Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, G for the more assertive one (Time Roth) and R for the more timid (Gary Oldman). However, Giles and I have been calling them Wingus and Dingus because they're so... stupid acting. And at least for now, it's hard to imagine giving them Shakespearean names, them being so small and ridiculous. But I think they'll grow into it.
