Good to see you posting again!

Not sure I like the idea of keyless home locks. I used to have a Hyundai Elantra with remote keyless entry, and 2-3 times a week I or a neighbor would find the trunk open thanks to random radio signals that popped the lock. I like my Kia withits barbarically simple old-fashioned key locks better. :)

Smart phones controlling everything is a bit overdone... those can be lost or stolen and batteries often run out inconveniently....

As for electronic locks themselves... not a bad option, though some implemented better than others. For instance, I have both options with my car, however they designed it all that I cannot use my mechanical option without setting off the alarm, which must be switched off by getting the key into the ignition as fast as possible... sheeeesh....
