i'm not sure if it's the same group of ppl but a group of teens came knocking on my door telling the same sob story and selling ice cream too! we didn't buy their story tho cos there's been alot of kids (from nine years old onwards) selling things from door to door fully equipped with "my mother is very sick..." story.

now when the REAL children who are unfortunate come knocking, we wouldn't know if they're telling the truth, would we?

and what u say is true.. if ppl who are really genuine and need the money coe forward, we will be doubtful.

same. some teens selling ice cream with great persuasion to get us to buy.
but i just think the price they are selling is exorbitant. which normally cost us like 6 bucks to buy from supermarket.
im not sure if its the price set by the company or its those kids who charges slightly more to keep some cash for themselves.

i knoww! they use self-pity so ppl would fall for it..and they mark up the prices by so much. its really crazy.

that is so sick and apparently it is quite common. and those teenagers selling ice cream can be very rude. i remembered one of them shouting at us cause we didn't want to buy any. urgh.

they shouted at u? this is really bad, apparently so many ppl have experienced this as well.
