...okay, this is a little too cold, but I would gladly accept it before the incredibly hot summers of Texas! -46, okay, but can I have a Russian woman dressed in nothing but a mink coat, bringing me a freshly cooked supper as I sip on a small glass of vodochka?

Yeah, we have good winters.
I'm not Russian, i'm Ukrainian, but it doesn't change anything.
Last winter it was very cold 26C degrees below zero and there were a lot of snow.
I like New Year and winter too =)

Some days it's cold, some days - not... but in general Russia changes a lot in winter ) it's not more or less beatiful (it's always beatiful %)), it's different ;)

Well, winters are sure cool here. And I do mean "cool": - 31 C isn't exactly an experience woth having. But on the other hand, it's fun =)
