They are the awesomest of awesome shoes. Keds and Vans, anyway. Vans last for freaking ever. I bought a pair, wore them to band camp, and they still lasted me for another two or three years.

*sigh* Now I want to go shoe shopping... XD

i <3 vans!!! mine are cracking on the sides though but i think that happens to all sneakers... especially converse! converse are so shitty.

Yeah, I've never really cared for Converse. And the cracking is pretty normal, which makes me sad since my Vans are the cool red leather ones with the Japanese newsprint on the sides. Cracking plastic means exposed newspaper, which means no puddle jumping! :[
