This evening as I left work I noticed that the sun was casting an astonishing light across the land as it neared the horizon. Determinism would seem to imply some grand design, thus a grand designer, i.e.; God. However i think there are two different kinds of determinism. I've replaced my occasional parkour runs with longer walks alone at night. This was partly born out of necessity since it's winter. But also I haven't felt the surplus of energy that I used to feel. I have discovered a very enjoyable thing to do when I am snowboarding at night. This hill isn't a mountain, but it does rise way above the surrounding features, providing a very nice view from the top. Around 6 or 6:30 the sun sets, so I keep an eye on it while doing my runs, and when it is about to go down, I travel to a secluded spot on the hill ( Read more... )
