The TWO year old
Friday we started off the day with Layne's favorite thing. A BATH (notice his nicely lined up toys. He goes nuts if you mess them up. lol)
We packed up our stuff and headed off for the day. First stop was a boring one for Layne. We had to go fight with the lady down at the Health Department to get Mila's birth certificate squared away. We did needlessly complicate the situation by holding off on putting a name down. BUT she messed up a bunch of other paperwork and made us go back THREE times (Dylan had to keep taking off work) because of her continuous mess ups. It's a finished now though, and she is OFFICIALLY Amelia Claire.
Anyways, back to Layne. After that was all done, Daddy went to work, and Layne, Mila, and I headed off to COSI! We had a lot of fun, but had to leave after a bit to go meet up with Grandma for a lunch date of Chipotle :) Layne's (Grandma's, and my own) favorite!

Saturday was Layne's first party. We had a little family gathering at my Mom's house for him. He had a very Car's themed cake, wrapping paper, hats, plates, napkins, and everything else she could find. Layne was particularly taken with the toy "Lightening McQueen" on his cake. He tried to grab it and put a "pot hole" in the "road".

Sunday
Sunday we had a little get together to celebrate three birthday parties at Dylan's parents. Layne's Grandpa and Aunt were also celebrating birthdays. This is the day he got his favorite present. A drum set. Cutest.thing.ever.
