Vid notes: First off I'd like to make it very clear that in no way does this video say that I don't like Spike. On the contrary, he's one of my favorite characters. He's bashed up here, but he is an amazing character and I have a huge love for him. I've wanted to use this song for a video for a while now and once I saw all of what Spike was put through, I knew he was a perfect match. Totally perfect beat-up, taken advantage of character. I couldn't resist starting to vid BtVS with this one. I had to go through a few season's worth of episodes to find all I needed, but in the end I had to pick and choose between tons of clips. There were so many possibilities.... so much I didn't use. The poor guy.
I do love my heroes beaten up, though. I think it has to do with having to be nurtured afterward. Yeah that's it.
This is just one part of Spike and how he's constantly mistreated by everyone. There's so much more to this character that is not explored here. I am new to the Buffyverse, and had a ton of fun putting this together. I hope that some will enjoy it.
