I made a new banner! Out with the old, in with the new and right now it's Hunger Games. Book is awesome and I can't wait to see the film. Reading book #2 now.

Catching Fire is, I think, my favorite of the trilogy, even though I love them all.

That's interesting, and I'm glad you shared your opinion on it. I just finishing the first book yesterday and was totally blown away. I had no idea the story would affect me so greatly. I started the second book last night and am about 1/3 of the way through. So far it hasn't captured me like the first but I still cannot put it down. I love these characters so very much!! I know that everyone's tastes are different, but since you think Catching Fire is the best, I know I'm in for some good stuff. Oh and thanks for giving me links to those HG communities. I joined mockingjay.

Yeah, JOHN VS AERYN! How in the world..... I did eventually vote for John. I know he can't beat Aeryn but I cannot resist him. 'Beyond hope' just keeps floating through my mind.

I started the second book last night and am about 1/3 of the way through. So far it hasn't captured me like the first but I still cannot put it down.

There are plenty of people who don't agree with me, and you can find people whose favorite is the first or the third, but the second kind of crept up on me in retrospect, after I'd finished all three. It introduces my favorite characters and spawned the initial ideas for the monster fic I'm working on.

Gorgeously gorgeous new banner!! Had no idea you'd been reading The Hunger Games. (Thought maybe I'd see a OUAT banner at some point, LOL) I bought the book for myself a couple of months ago and all of a sudden it went missing; Kate took it and I still haven't read it! Guess I wont' get it read before March 23, LOL.

And...can't even BEGIN to imagine choosing John over Aeryn!!! /o\

Thanks dear! I know you expected OUAT and that's probably one I'll make in the future. I can't deny my love for The Hunger Games. I've probably told you this in the past but I am not a reader. I'd always had problems reading while growing up and I'm very visual. But once in a while I will try a book and it will grip me and not let me go. I could not put it down! You must find your book and give it a go. Or I could give you the ebook. Movie comes out next week! I am there even if I have to go alone. :)

Oh yes! I love Aeryn so much but it has to be John for me. Maybe it's the black leather pants. Or maybe it's his 'beyond hope' love for Aeryn. Brilliant series.

Are you kidding me?! I thought for sure you loved Aeryn more than John! After all, you are the RadiantAerynSun. :) :)

You have a week to read and surely, once you get into it, you wont be able to put it down! Yep, plenty of time. :)

I feel as if I'm the only person on the planet who hasn't begun reading this trilogy yet.../o\

Honestly, I thought I was! Once I started reading it, it seemed that everyone had already read it. After all, the movie comes out in one week! Where have I been??
