Well this month has certainly been one of change and such. For those of you that weren't aware I have been living in an older motorhome on Shel's and Aaron's property for the last nine months. This has consisted of sjaring Sheli's house and facilities and sleeping in the motorhome at night. Now I have been extremely grateful for my little home ( Read more... )

Hey, haven't seen you online at all. Too bad we can't figure out how to get high-speed Internet to y'all. You need to move Shel's place closer in to civilization.

Your description of the trailer is great. I'm so glad to hear you have a somewhat more comfortable place to be in. You are so much better of a person than I am ... if I were in your situation, I'd be hating the world for everything I had lost.

Anyway, once you are back on your feet, would love to see you. If you think you can make it off your property in mid-August, check out www.leatherwoods.org -- we could give you a ride down & we've asked for space to camp where three or four tents could pitch nearby. It should be a nice litter party.

Hugs!

I am due to see the medic soon, still no weight bearing as only the screws hold my leg together as of now, as to getting around, If I can find a automatic shift car to use I should be mobile enough to at least get around, the stick shift just won’t be happening for a while….

As to the attitude, it’s the only thing I can control at this point, I’ve lived far worse than this (and far better) The hardest part is the loneliness that sometimes is overwhelming, But I still have my cat, and she will purr and cuddle me.

Life goes on, the alternative is to quit trying and die. It’s just proving harder this time than it was before.

I look foward to getting together once I can get around on my own. meanwhile trips are limited to rides I can tag along with.
