2 Months

After two months of lockdown, my mom went out for her first long walk as far as my area this morning, and she just stood at the other side of my street with a sign that read "I love you very much!".

I held my son in my arms and we greeted her from the window. We live on the 2nd floor.

Well, well, at least some kind of progress.
And how cute of your mom?! :3333

I don't know how you manage really. I need to go outside every single day or I go insane. Not only during this crisis, but in general :)
It doesn't have to be long, but a short walk to move my body and get some fresh air are really necessary for me to feel somewhat comfortable. Well, living in a dark basement apartment I think everybody would feel the same way, though.

It was really sweet of her! I really miss visiting my parents. We used to have lunch at their place every Saturday, together with my granny. I hope we can do that again in a month... We'll see.

I think it depends on both the apartment, indeed, and also the personality. My husband, too, needs to go out almost every day, that is why he took charge of the garbage and other small errands, and he is the one taking our son to play outside. I'd go crazy seeing him touching anything, and that wouldn't be healthy for him. I want for him to enjoy freedom, and he can only do so with his a-bit-more-reckless dad. : )

I am perfectly comfortable at home. But I also live on a 2nd floor with windows to the street, and sometimes I lie in bed with my head near the window and get sunbathed for a few minutes. Fresh air and sun in small doses, like medicine.

I still need to go out and walk, soon. For my legs and my general health!

You shouldn't be worried too much about your son, though.
Kids aren't really in danger here. Or are you worried he'll bring something home and pass it to you?

Yeah, you really should go outside again now that it's allowed.
In your case it would be better to walk in the nature, not surrounded by people, though. Probably difficult in a big city? :/
