Re: Uni. I don't know what your home situation is like, obviously, but sometimes you've got to make sacrifices for what you want to do. I wanted to stay in London for Uni, cos duh, me anywhere else, not gonna work! But my decision was also based on the fact that if I had gone anywhere else in England, we would have to of sold the house to get some money & Dad and Frank would've had to have moved as well and I wasn't going to do that to a brother who had roots here regardless of whether I wanted to go to Uni in London or not. That said, you've got a little while to make your decision and things might change for you, you never know. Failing that, go live in a squat in the East End, there are some splendid ones there.
And Bloc Party for your birthday? Probably...depends on cashflow. xx
i am in two minds whether to go to uni anyway, but if i didn't my parents would probably disown me (well they wouldn't...but i'd get those looks from my dad...you know, dissapointment and that). It's a big thing. but yeah, it's still a while away, hopefully things get sorted out.
yeah, just see what you can do. unfortunatly my birthday falls in the costly Christmas season (i was actually due on xmas day, you know). It's tough for anyone to have anything spare around then. but just see what you can do, i think the tickets are on sale now.
You're better off staying at home, its sooooooo much easier, trust me. I'd live at home if my parents didnt live in a hole a million miles away from anywhere.
And yes I shall be at Bloc Party, how could I possibly expect you to enjoy your birthday without your favourite person in the whole world being there?
well, to be honest, it beats smelling like a fucking pub. those were nasty days *shudders*.
plus, think about it, the ratio of girls to guys going in the shop...the ratio of girls to guys working IN the shop...i think smelling like a girl is a small price to pay ;)
and yeah, money isn't too bad apparantly, plus you get target bonuses and that, as well as discounts. all the females in my family are gonna be sorted this christmas :p
