[Joshua, to probably no one's surprise, has ended up as a black mage, Final Fantasy style- except that you can see his face and his cloak is... white. yea that's kind of weird, but he's looking very pleased with the outcome. His staff is also made of a very pale wood now, but the round gem at the top is dark purple.]

The first people I found took one look at me and turned the other way. [ Now, back where she's from, maybe, maybe she could understand this, but around here it's downright disturbing. ]

When did this forest get locals? I know I've been by where at least one of these villages is before, and it was all forest then.

The ones I've managed to get to talk to me seem nice enough. Apparently the outfit scares off some of them, though. Something to do with black magic.
