Oh man, Theo is so adorable. Obvious to anyone willing to believe it's possible. And I love that about it being easier to believe at four, and then - god, that must've sucked, having her laugh it off and him standing there being apologetic but he's on her side, of course.
Oh, uber-casual date okaying. So adorable.
THEO FTW. "And, seriously. A sophomore in high school. Frank has Concerns. " He's... I mean, he's Kyouya, kind of. Probably less heartless.
"...Theo says, but slight inflection recasts the sentence as a question. He’s been trying to match that trick in narration." - And I love Theo again, more.
"You haven’t written anything besides, ‘Eliza is awesome’.” - Hee, young love. The truths is tells.
“You’re in danger of wooing me already.” - FEAR THE POWER OF THE OPOSSUM.
"To be fair, his two best friends spend just as much time in their own mind, where Theo can’t follow." - And right after that about not being able to explain his writing, and her helping explain... man. That really has to kinda suck.
