Anyone have any job openings for a good hardware/software engineer?

My employer, which had been on life support for a little while, finally made it official today and laid off everyone. It might still come back to life, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

It's a shame, though. We were within about 6 months of actually being profitable but it's just a bad time to be in solar power.

Oh well.

Ah, dammit. Sounded like a good place, too.

Well.. not sure if I should be pointing them out, given I'd rather enjoy a spin with them too, but Misfit Wearables have a position or two that might be of interest. You snag Hardware Dev, then, and get me the Firmware Dev position? =:)

They're down in Redwood City, btw - maybe not ideal, but not as bad as a full-blown South Bay commute, ne?

Hmmm, that does look like an interesting job. I may just apply although now that I'm living down in San Jose it would be a bit of a commute. Oh well. ;)

I develop the prototype here and send you the results. If you think about it, the process isn't really any different than when I was designing consumer electronics gadgets. I would develop the prototypes in San Francisco and then deal with the factory in China to get them built.
