I watched the finale episode of Smallville earlier today. There may have been some feelings.
Leeeeex. I HAVE MISSED YOU.
Lex: You and I, we will both be great men. Because of each other. We have a destiny together, Clark. Only on different sides.
Clark: And I'll always be there to stop you. Always.
Lex: Oh, I'm counting on it.
Lex: Our story hasn't been written yet, "Kal-El". And every villain is only as great as his hero. [The Veritas Journals] foretold of a chosen saviour. The light that will inspire this world out of darkness. You are the light, Clark. Only you hold the power within you.
Clark: I'm not so sure that Clark Kent can save the entire world on his own.
Lex: He can't. But we both know who can.
LEX NEEDS CLARK TO BE SUPERMAN AND SAVE THE WORLD BECAUSE THEY CAN'T SHARE THEIR EPIC DESTINY OTHERWISE. BECAUSE THEY COMPLETE EACH OTHER. STUFF OF LEGEND ETC.
Oh show, subtlety was never your forte. ♥
How much do I still want there to be a Superman show/movie/whatever with Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum? A LOT.
In the very least, I want to read fic about Clark discovering Lex has lost his memories and helping him regain them while epic end of the world stuff happens. YES.
