My cat ate over 2 feet of string yesterday.

Too him to emergency vet this morning and called a family member vet in Lago Vista and both agree that without surgery, his survival is not likely. Already spent 184.00 today on exam, pain killer, antibiotic, laxative, and anti-nausea meds.

There is a small, small chance that he chewed the string into

Have an appointment at 3pm today at the regular vet. The tech said surgery is the typical route and they usually outsource that.

He isn't eating or drinking water which only makes it harder for him to pass the string, if it was gonna work at all.

I have little faith in miracles at this point.

Already been up since about 5 crying over this little ball of fur.

I wish I was all hard core and stoic. No tears. Just be mad at the little fuck for being so stupid.

But instead I am a wreck. Supposed to meet with a teacher at 10am.

I've never had to make the call to put a pet down before..........
