But before I get to that, can someone please please please explain to me what free-size clothing is and who exactly fits into it? It boggles my mind.

free-size clothing is one-size-fits-all. can have ties to adjust how tight it is or have little to no shape. often made of stretchy or pleated material.
its good for pregnant women.
