I wish I could help. I just wanted to drop by & tell you how much this sucks. :(

We both have policies through MetLife. We have perfect health, but they still sent a nurse to our home to do a physical on both of us.

I was denied for having cancer 2x. I recently got it b/c I started a new job and their contract for new employees couldn't exclude anyone, no matter what. But I think I lucked out on that one.
Sorry, L. :(

I was kind of hoping that would have been the case for spousal life insurance too. I know they can't deny me if I was an actual employee but I guess they can for spousal. So lame. I think I'm setting my sights too high for $250K. If I can even get a $50K policy I'll be lucky.

I've been declined because of my kidneys. I just gave up after that. Sorry I'm no help, but I understand the frustration.

I have my life insurance through State Farm. Applied when I was 30, no health issues, $99/month. DH has high cholesterol and pays $250/month.

BTW, why would you even CHANCE harming your baby from the MRI chemicals? It sounds to me like it's more about you feeling like a good mom than doing what is recommended. *shrug*

?? Why would I even answer a post in my own personal journal taken from a question I had in another community about MS from someone who doesn't even have the nerve to use their real LJ name?

What an asshole coward. Sorry Lex about the insurance. I would just suggest little policies here and there. Do you have a bank sometimes you can get one for like $50k they don't require a physical.
