I've just noticed that there are so many labels people are throwing around nowadays: Punk, emo, pop, even something called a scenester? Which utterly confuses me personally, what the fuck's a scenester? And I agree. Don't have too much to add, really... but yeah, espeically with the notion of looking 'punk', doesn't worrying so much about the impression your appearance is giving others that you'd modify it beyond what you LIKE wearing to prove that you're 'punk' kinda prove the opposite? Punk doesn't have to be all about chains and leather, it can be jeans a tee and attitude....
What the hell, clothes are fun, people should take them a little less seriously.

Myself I just call them 'heathens'. Not for any religious reason, more cause I find it fun to say. Try it!

See? It's fun. Aye, my sisters have got quite a few friends that feel the need to express their taste in music through their attire. I mean, doing that, you get left with so few choices. What about trad fans? Do they wear tweed suits with those little wool caps about all the time? And lovers of Beethoven and Mozart? Do they dress like 18th-19th century Austrian guys?

And if you tell me fans of Edith Piaf where striped shirts, berets with a lit cigarette and a monkey, I'm going to kill you.
