Personal History: Lexie was born and raised in Manchester, England, to John and Melissa Hurst. She was their first and only child, though her parents did try for other children. They were never successful, though, and Lexie was it. Her mother was a muggleborn witch, and her father was the son of a muggle and a halfblood witch himself -- so there is no one who would mistake Lexie for a Pureblood, though she did grow up in the wizarding community.
Her life before Hogwarts was pretty normal and happy. She got along with her parents pretty well, and they spoiled her as much as they were able -- which, granted, wasn't much, considering that neither of them pull in very big paychecks, but Lexie never was very materialistic. The thing that Lexie has always craved most is knowledge, and that's not exactly something that can be bought.
It wasn't a surprise that she got sorted into Ravenclaw, then, and Lexie fell into her house and the classes she started on happily. She loves the atmosphere in Hogwarts -- the way you can learn and have fun and how it seems like anything is possible. She always loved Hogwarts and felt very much at home there, making friends easily enough and, oh, the learning she could do.
School was a high priority for Lexie, but so was Quidditch, and her friends, and just her life. She wants to enjoy everything, and is out to have a good time -- so while she was a typical Ravenclaw in her love of learning, she was also quite the social person, making friends and having fun while she was in school.
In that sense, she did date a little, and she broke the rules occassionally (though she tried to keep her fun within the rules whenever possible), and generally, she just lived her life up while she was still in school.
She hasn't been out of school long, and it took her a while to figure out what she would really like to do -- teach. She would love to be at Hogwarts, but not only is there no position available just at the moment, but she's also probably too young. She took up a job in the muggle world, though, working at as a teachers aide in a muggle elementary school. Though she does want to get into Hogwarts eventually, it's nice enough for the moment.
Personality: Lexie is incredibly friendly. She likes having a lot of friendships, and being surrounded by people. Though she is very much a Ravenclaw in her thirst for knowledge, she also likes be social, and having a good time. This isn't to mean that she's a total party animal -- a good time can be something as simple as hanging out at home and doing nothing; though it can also include partying, she's not above that or anything.
She's a total and complete sweetheart. She does her best to be nice to most people, and doesn't hold grudges in the least -- at least, not for little things. She'll walk into any situation with a complete lack of bias, giving anyone and anything a chance. Being stubborn is completely foreign to her, as well -- even if she's decided that someone isn't worth her time, they could get her to change her mind easily, simply by exerting a little effort to prove that she should.
Though she loves knowledge for the sake of knowledge, she's not your typical Ravenclaw reader. Oh, she loves books -- but she likes non-fictional books, where she can learn about things that actually happened, or study new forms of magic, or learn about -- well, anything, really. From useful things such as new, everyday charms to pointless things like muggle pop culture; she likes to know things.
She's also good at imparting knowledge. She tutored some of her friends and classmates while she was in school, and found she rather had a knack for it -- as well as a great enjoyment of it.
It's very easy for Lexie to let things just roll right off of her back, which means that she's nearly always in a good mood. People don't tend to bother her by things that they say, or bother her in general. It's not that she's naive, exactly. She knows when someone's being an asshole, and she knows the people to avoid, and she knows when things aren't exactly in a good state of being. She just doesn't let that affect her, and what she's doing, and the life that she's living.
Physical Description: Lexie stands at around 5'6" -- not short, exactly, but not tall, either. Just sort of average. Her weight is about the same; she's not overly skinny, but no one would ever accuse her of being fat, either. She has that sort of hair color that can either be described as a dark blonde, or a light brown, right somewhere in the middle. Her eyes are a normal brown, nothing really special about them. Her skin ranges from pale to tan -- depending on how much time she's spent outside recently. She has a large, bright smile that is almost always on her face.

2. Mild fear of thunder/lightning. Plain rain she's fine with, and mild storms don't really bother her at all. Really bad storms make her jumpy, though, even if they don't send her screaming under her bed or anything like that.
