I do think Arch didn't mean any harm - I've suggested elsewhere that the boy could equally have been defending his proximity to underage alcohol and the overtly sexual clubbing scene -but of course that doesn't invalidate the distress and hurt caused. (I did not know, per Sella, that he'd played at casinos! Which just goes to show what I know :))

JAY!!! How are you?!! I just got a notification about a PM from you from awhile ago that got eaten by Frank at some point. :(
I don't think he meant any harm either, its more that he was so careless that it stung. Until he clarified, it seemed like maybe we were getting more honesty than he meant to give us. Its not as big a deal today, especially when I had some time to think about it. Its just disappointing that we live in a world where its not "odd" or "weird" that many people's first reaction was "omg homphobia", even from a normally sweet kid.

Even after the "clarification" today, I'm still very :/
I think part of it was I was actually... proud, and excited, that he'd gone to a gay club to support his friend. I saw it as a sign of his openness and maturity, imagined him breaking out of his religious mold.
Lolz this is the problem with being a hugely over-invested cray cray stan.
Regardless of his intentions, or even what's in his heart, the words still stand.
I HAVE TOO MANY FEELINGS LOLZ.
