i have a semi-serious question for you. well actually, it's a completely serious question. if you love jesus christ, who is the son of god the father, does that mean you don't believe in the trinity?

ha, it was a "comma"... meaning he has many names to me. as in jesus christ= son of God.

soooo yeah i believe in the trinity, but the trinity is more of a catholic belief too because that word is never once found in the bible. yeah they talk about it- but they don't actually say "bless the trinity"... that's what the catholics came up with, and i'm not catholic. derek is. i'm not. haha. not a big deal though. we believe in jesus and God, and that's all that matters in my opinion. but ANYWHO. yes. the trinity is the son, the father, and the holy ghost (spirit= depending who you talk to), and i believe in all of those but i don't really title it "I BELIEVE IN THE TRINITY"... i say "i believe in god, the son, and the holy ghost". lol. kinda complicated, but i'm just a RCA member- whatcha gunna do.

sorry for the confusion, but i could list names of Jesus all day if you REALLY wanted me to, he has like a million names in the bible... but i was just saying two. aiight i'm out- bye

haha i understand what you're saying and i know what the trinity is supposed to be, and that in the bible Jesus has a million names or "titles," if you will (as does God). i don't believe in the trinity doctrine (or whatever you want to call it) either, because like you said...it isn't taught or even mentioned in the bible.
i asked if you believed in this "trinity doctrine" because i thought you were catholic. or maybe i just assumed and never bothered to find out because i suffer ("unconsciously") from chronic ignorance.
anyway, since i was under the impression that you were catholic, when i read your entry, i was surprised to discover the possibility that you had not adopted one of catholicism's fundamental doctrines as your own. hence my question/comment.
SO...
the catholic church teaches that god, jesus, and the holy spirit are all one and the same, ¿no ( ... )
