As I mentioned a bit ago, I have been going back and looking for older fics. I have also tried to swear off WIP's.

I have seen emmagrant01's postings of Surrender the Grey and had avoided it because I didn't want to get sucked into another WIP.

That lasted until I was fiending for something to read and I found the first story - Left My Heart - and devoured

Wow, you must have been on a reading frenzy to be new to lj and find StG and Shadow of His Wings already. Plus, I'm assuming you have read through silentauror's stuff. I love her "Room of Requirement" and her HP/Star Wars pieces. Different has heck, but fun!

I am working to get caught up on Per Solum Lacuna: By Words Alone, then I think I'll get into StG.

Per Solum Lacuna: By Words Alone by Azhure and Wintermoon is an epic story that still has a couple of chapters to go...it is absolutely huge, but so rich and detailed. I am hooked.

Here is a great H/D Staples list by rosesanguina if you need some more ideas. *evil laugh*

One of my favorites is Lettered by pir8fancier. It is a series of letters from Draco to Harry.

Another good one is A Proper Seduction by dacro.

I've sworn of WIPS as well, but she updates every wednesday RELIGIOUSLY. Wednesdays have now become my favourite day. :)

Her story is very well worth. It's captivating and complex (and smutty) and thrilling. Only two more days until the next installment... *rubs hands gleefully*
