Last night I got into a mini-arguement with my kid over the way to pronounce "corset".
darkasphodel
's purple corset reminded me of this discussion.
So, is it "cor-set" or "cor-sit".
There is fudge riding on who is right.

Ok, so that would have been the most logical place to look last night, and yet, neither of us though of it.
Personally, I like the answer given there.

I've always pronounced it as COR-sit. *shrug*

I have no issues with British pronounciation as it matches my own which means I WIN!!!
