This chapter is awesome! All that action, Jack trying to keep his sense of humour in the face of certain death (your Jack voice is spot on!), the kiss!! OMG the kiss! Yay!

And then the last little scene with Henry! *glee* She's going to have Jacob wrapped round her little finger in a matter of minutes! :D

Fantastic chapter! I love those hey-we're-going-to-die-so-we-might-as-well-make-out moments, which were sadly lacking on the show. I love your take on it.

Also, I'm very much enjoying Jacob's reactions so far, and I have a feeling it's only going to get more fun in the next chapter, which I'm really looking forward to!

I am *such* a sucker for the near-death-kiss. It's a cliche, but it just works so well. And I think it kind of suits Jack/Sam. I totally agree there should have been more of those kind of moments in canon. The only canonical one we got was in Moebius ^_^ *sigh*.

I am also such a sucker for putting Jacob awkwardly in the middle of Jack & Sam. There's nothing like a military general father to embarrass his daughter and scare of her potential boyfriends =P

Have just read the entire story and it's awesome!!!! Henrietta is one of the funniest S/J kids ever written. I hope you write more chapters in the future!
