It's cold. Frost still frosting windows at 10:30 a.m. We put on our boots and walked about 1/2 mile to the library. Within about 50 feet are the county courthouse (across from which lives the Commonwealth's attorney), sheriff, dept. of health, historical society, and a pretty cool mill-turned-restaurant/inn. So, I'm still alive, employed, boring.
Cat grows every day. Dogs wrestle. I can't keep the weeks straight.
Fall has come, though today was about 70 degrees. We're driving off in the ailing Jetta to an ancient house in the mountains tomorrow. If we make it back, I'll post more.
