I've been looking for some more complicated beading projects to do (mainly to keep myself busy). ;) I have a lot of seed beads left over from a very long time ago (10-15 years--to me, that's a very long time!) that I would like to use. there's very little difference in 10 and 11 beads when it comes to projects. the only time you'll notice a difference is when you bead the two sizes next to each other. I made this mistake a while back on a square stitch project and had to correct it because it threw off the row a bit too much.

as long as you use all the same sizes, unless you're going for a 3-dimensional look, it shouldn't matter whether you're using 10s or lls.

Yeah, I think most projects should look OK with the size 10s...but some, like the beaded flower brooch I made the other day, just don't look as nice with 10s instead of 11s. I think it depends what the project is.
