I'm feeling it's the money. What pisses me off is the way she talks about Exile in Guyville now, like she's somewhat ashamed of it, which to me sounds like she's trying to distance herself from indie rock and indie rock fans in general, which sucks even more. Yeah, whatever. I guess we'll always have Fuck and Run, Liz.

3. I agree. I never really loved Liz Phair -- she always reminded me of a drunken Lincoln park party chick -- but her new incarnation isn't all that exciting. She already has this disaffected way of singing -- which probably worked with the Lincoln Park party chick thing -- but it doesn't help things now.

Hee! Another recruit! No one can resist the eyebrows and accent- or if they can, they aren't paying attention, dammit!
What the fuck happened to Liz Phair?
I have heard so many people asking this question! If I'm not incorrect, and I often am, the people presiding over a big chunk of her new album are the same folks that worked on Avril Lavigne's. I guess you can decide if that means anything or not.

Hee! You're too funny. The Avril Lavigne thing makes perfect sense, thanks for clearing that up.

Is it wrong that I find this shit amusing?

Hee. Hey, Lexual. Oh, it's amusing as hell, it's just... why? That's like Sarah Maclachlan covering The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia or something.
