I always have a hard time picking books to read. I'm never sure if they're going to be any good or worth the read. I find that most book jackets leave something to be desired. How do you pick books?

Honestly? I pretty much just walk around the library and look at titles. If a title seems interesting, I pull the book out and read the synopsis. Also, if I liked something by an author, I'll read more of their books. My library has a recently returned section, I usually go through that first then work my way through the stacks. I read so much, it gets hard sometimes to find good books. I'll often just get annoyed and pick up some cheesy paperback so I have something to read. I go nuts if I don't have a book. I'm actually out now, have been for a few days, so I'm probably going to have to read one of my books that I've already read about 6 times.

I used to read a lot when I was much younger, but it was classics so i knew they were good. Once I got to college it became really hard to pick books because I didn't have a teacher telling me what was good. Now I rely on my younger sister to help me out. lol
