No idea,
I imagine they re-enact battles accuratly, do shows and have moshes and generally hit other people in armour a lot. Plus the learning suff side and social bit look fun.

I joined one here for a bit but felt guilty I didn't have many weekends free so could only do the practise. I'm still interested & have sword & dagger.

The re-enactors fair is best for weapons & armour. Although join the group first and see what they recomend, they may be able to get group discount.

Don't use the sword shop in Brighton (if it is still open). It is very dodgy was on the news the other week for some reason or other.

As long as you like uncomfortable shoes (ala Mr Bradbeer) and uncomfortable Underwear (ala ChavDan) you'll be fine

Cheers Reb,

Yea it's the last trip to the re-anactors fair that kicked this off to be fair, plus a small purchasing accident with lancaster armouies.
Yea that sword shop has now closed down.

No I don't think so. This wasn't in the lanes it was more out towards Jo's.
A lot of the star treck & arthur sword types with some supposedly re-enactment type that were way to sharp.
