Art: Dean Winchester's Home for Wayward Angels (PG)
For the deancasbigbang Challenge, and bunnymaccool's story "Dean Winchester's Home for Wayward Angels" which is a fun romp wherein Dean aquires powers, a house and a house full of angels (plus Sam and Bobby).
The first painting is for a little scene at a Shopping Mall. Cas has chosen some new clothes (and a sudden preference for orange) while Dean lurked in the Food Court contemplating a dying ivy plant. Suddenly the plant starts looking much healthier!
I struggled with this portrait of Dean, and the detailed background (deliberately blurred out in the end), but I liked Cas in his orange t-shirt, and the glowing ivy plant.
In this dramatic scene, Dean is alone and attacked by hordes of demons. He unconciously calls on power and forceably evicts all the demons from their hosts.
I rather like the way Dean turned out in this, even if the composition is a little odd. I used lots of stock images from deviantArt as references to paint the demons, plus screencaps of Dean, and a photo of Jensen (for Dean's hand and arm). Digital paintings using Corel Painter 12 and a Wacom Intuous tablet.
